The air is crisp – even chilly enough for a sweatshirt. Football is on the TV. The grill is cooking something and whatever it is, it smells unbelievable. It’s my favorite time of the year. I love to start a fire and enjoy this time with my family. This time makes me think about all of the great things in my life – I am so fortunate to have what I have.
But this time of the year also makes me think of my clients and their families. I represent so many kind-hearted people whose lives have been devastated by injuries; people just like me who were able to enjoy a lazy football Sunday one day and struggle to get out of bed the next. My clients have been injured in car crashes, truck crashes, by careless doctors, by careless homeowners, by reckless pharmaceutical companies…the list goes on and on. These folks have had their lives turned upside down – suddenly unable to make ends meet, unable to work, unable to hug their loved ones.
I hope that through my work, I can help them and their families find peace, comfort, and help them right the wrongs they are now facing.
